DESCRIPTION

During the KICT4D 2005 which was held in conjunction with the Annual Meeting of IDB Board of Governors from 21 – 23 June 2005 in Putrajaya, Malaysia. The meeting agreed to initiate the establishment of a Task Force in cooperation with leading OIC member countries to establish collaboration of Computer Emergency Response Teams (CERTs) among the OIC member countries.

The Task Force Meetings were held in Malaysia on 26 – 27 July 2006 and on 9 Feb 2007, respectively. A Task Force was formed with CyberSecurity Malaysia, Malaysia, and the National Agency for Computer Security, Tunisia, appointed as the Chair and Secretariat respectively. Other Task Force members are CERTs from Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Nigeria, Pakistan, Iran and Indonesia.
