Within the digital age is a world without borders, highly connected with increasing usage of the internet and heavy reliance on digital technology. The environment today is much more complex and riskier, hence, traditional cybersecurity measures are insufficient. Cybersecurity prevention measures are no longer a solution. Cyber-attacks might have already occurred without being realised and by then the damage has already been done. It is also important to bounce back and recover. This article will be discussed Malaysia’s current cyber resilience maturity level. The article will also explain the importance and how to develop a Cyber Resilience Strategy for the Critical National Information Infrastructure (CNII) sectors in the country.
