Challenges of managing cyber threats and the risks while searching for economical opportunities in cyber security was the main focus of the annual general meeting of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation- Computer Emergency Response Team, OIC-CERT.
The conference and general meeting was officially opened by the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yusof as the Acting Chairman of National Security Council. With the theme "emerging Risks versus Opportunities", the conference aimed at addressing the latest technologies in cyber security.
Also present were the Permanent Secretary for Safety and Enforcement Section at the Prime Ministers Office, Dato Paduka Awang Haji Hamdan bin Haji Abu Bakar as the Chairman of Board of IT Protective Security Services (ITPSS) Sendirian Berhad and the Commissioner of Police, Dato Paduka Seri Awang Bahrin bin Mohd Noor.
